Brian Dunphy
Brian Dunphy was born in Dublin and spent his childhood traveling around Ireland watching his father Séan perform in cabarets and showbands. It was from this that Brian inherited his love of singing. At the age of eighteen, Brian set out on his own solo career, commencing with performances on RTE and the BBC. Since that time, Brian’s abilities have taken him far. He starred in Riverdance – the Show, appearing for two years at the Gershwin Theater on Broadway in New York, then touring with them across the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe, and finally finishing with a sell-out run in Radio City Music Hall. While in NYC, Brian had the honor of singing the American National Anthem at Madison Square Gardens and making a guest appearance on the Today Show. He has been seen in numerous productions, including Here’s to the Melody, Aspects of Love, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the Merry Widow. Beyond his vocal talents, Brian is also a guitarist and skilled songwriter. He performs one of his compositions, “God Be With Those Days,” in DRUID. |
